“In this painting of Gig Harbor I turned back the clock. In my preparation for the painting I visited the Harbor History Museum to research old photographs. I tried to accurately represent many of the historical buildings and houses that can be seen in this fishing village. In my choice of color I created an overall sense of warmth and evening rest.”

I believe art should be able to communicate to the common man without explanation.
