“This painting is a tribute to my hometown of Gig Harbor, WA. Gig Harbor has a very narrow entrance, which makes it an exceptionally protected harbor. I chose a typically stormy wintertime scene, which I recall from my time growing up around the Harbor. Mount Rainier looms in the distance and the twinkling lights begin to come on as dusk settles in on the small fishing village.”
