I started this painting about 16 years ago. I couldn't figure out how to finish the painting and so I moved on to other paintings and stored it away. Recently I pulled it back out and gave it another shot. I had my son Luke pose with our sled and it turned out to be the perfect touch that it needed to be complete.

The painting is based on a small town in New England where I had the honor of spending 3 months back in 2002.
